Harvesting Autumn

Harvesting Autumn

Harvesting Autumn is a 10-acre family farm owned and operated by Autumn Carroll and his daughters, Parker and Eloise. Located in Omak, WA, they sell locally off the farm and at farmers markets. They feel it is very important to contribute to the community and be environmentally responsible, and as such they donate fresh fruit to food banks throughout Okanogan County. These donations are possible because of the fantastic customer base: the more sold, the more donations that can be contributed. The farm is entirely Certified Organic and has an array of more than 50 varieties of tree fruits as well as row crops and berries. Crops include WSDA Certified Organic cherries, Donut peaches, canning and fresh eating peaches, plums, pluots, pears, and table grapes. Harvesting Autumn is harvesting all summer from June to October, which means the freshest fruit will reach your table, and also makes it possible for the employees to work throughout the majority of the year. Employees often return for many seasons and get to know the farm, which results in consistent fruit quality from year to year. Autumn has been farming for more than 20 years and enjoys teaching his daughters basic farming techniques as well as the benefits of hard work and determination. You can meet Autumn and his daughters at the Okanogan Farmers Market (Saturday) and the Mercer Island Farmers Market (Sunday).
